Gavin is the owner operator and has been in the bike industry for……………… (let’s say a very long time)
The bike rental business, which was part of Ride In cafe, in the Jonkershoek, for 10 years, is now based at The Black Horse centre just off Dorp Street, Stellenbosch. Making it a very accessible place for customers, a mere 5-minute walk from the centre of town.
We offer an array of different bikes depending on your need and we can also book you a guide to make your experience even more memorable.
If you’re looking for something more leisurely, we also have a fleet of bikes for those who wish to explore Stellenbosch and the surrounding wine farms by bike. This can be done on e-bikes or normal entry level bikes, with or without guides as you prefer! BUT pls book guides in advance.

Stellenbosch has long been renowned as the mountain biking mecca of South Africa, and our trail system just keep on growing. There are 100’s of kms of purpose-built trails and even more gravel/jeep roads.
Just to name a few within easy riding –

You will have to buy a permit for some of the trails depending on where you ride, so please see links below for permits, trails and maps.

CLOSED SUNDAYS
We prefer you book your bikes through our on-line booking platform, as this way we know you have reserved your bikes. We can get very busy so walk in’s might miss out!
